Book explains why teenage athletes are dying on the field
A 17-year-old Suffolk County high school kid dies on the football field this week during practice.
According to witnesses he was only on the field about four minutes before he bent over, then passed out due to a “cardiac event” at about 5 p.m. on Monday.
He is now on life support with little to no brain function.
You say this is a very uncommon event. Yes, before 2020 globally 29 events a year like this would occur with young athletes collapsing on the field or court going back 20 years.
However, according to a new book by Ed Dowd entitled, “Cause Unknown” The Epidemic of Sudden Deaths in 2021 and 2022, this is now far, far more common.
Dowd, a former banker with BlackRock, examined the raw data of deaths and found that after mandated pandemic shots the number of these deaths soared to where it went from averaging 29 deaths a year to averaging 29 deaths a month.
One month in particular — Dec. 2021 — there were 96 such deaths on athletic fields.
He wrote the book he says because like this death, most events were only reported by local papers and the macro numbers were ignored by national media.
His book has hundreds of clippings from small-town papers whose readers were devastated by loss of one of their own.
Dowd draws the conclusion that the spike in deaths are tied to averse reactions to the CoVid-19 vaccine. It is known that the vaccine can cause Myocarditis, which is a serious though rare condition where inflammation develops in the myocardium, or middle muscular layer of the heart wall.
Myocarditis can weaken the heart and its electrical system. As a result, the heart’s ability to pump blood declines.
I highly recommend picking up Dowd’s book. It is chuck full of statistics and is meant to be read in 90 minutes. However the data and conclusion is the bones of the book.
